| | | Shell Hydrogen Shell Hydrogen Visitor Center, Washington, DC
Located within a Shell service station in Washington D.C., this corporate visitor center interprets the importance of hydrogen fuel as a potential new fuel of the future. This is the first retail station in the United States with a hydrogen fuel dispenser, and Shell included a visitor center for educating the general public as well as policy makers and think tank organizations within the District.
The story is broken into 3 categories; a basic introduction of the project in Washington D.C.; Why Hydrogen Fuel?, answering the concerns for the environment, the economy and the safety of the fuel; and Hydrogen Fuel, Here Today, discussing hydrogen fuel projects around the world and the development of hydrogen fuel vehicles.
As Shell opens further hydrogen fuel dispensers around the world, the content developed for Washington D.C. will be localized and repeated at the respective sites.
