| | | Convergence The Intel Museum, Santa Clara, CA
This 1,000 square foot exhibit at the Intel Museum features the products that are a result of 3 areas of converging technology: networking, communications and wireless. Clear acrylic arches at each entry are screened with frosted vinyl zeroes and ones in binary code. Each of the 3 technology sectors are highlighted with a 6’ diameter Intel product wafer surrounded by smaller usage images along with executive quotes and feature text. Armatures in front of each wafer hold interactive elements such as video media, as well as details on Intel products used in each of sectors. A 98” diameter “people wafer” includes hundreds of product usage images in a photo mosaic and serves as an anchor for one end of the exhibit. Pools of light in binary code track through the center of the space.
