           |           | Tot Spot The Bay Area Discovery Museum, Sausalito, CA Designed for children age 5 and under, the Tot Lot and Tot Spot places visitors within and around the animals and plants that inhabit Marin County, California. As an indoor area, the Tot Spot is an improvement of a previously existing version. Two sections within Tot Spot, Roots and Rocks and Waves and Water, immerse children in underground and under water habitats, combining gross motor and fine motor activities with scenic environments. The Tot Lot is a 4,000 square foot outdoor area which includes a 60 foot long, multilevel stream, a woods area and a meadow. Hidden throughout are habitats of many local animals and plants including a gopher, salmon, woodrat and quail. | ||||
